A New Chapter for Foraged & Found: Embracing Solo Entrepreneurship
Dear Foraged & Found Community,
Today, I'm sharing some big news about our company's journey. My business partner, Chelsea, is moving on to pursue other passions, and Foraged & Found is returning to its roots as a solo venture.
First, I want to express my gratitude to Chelsea for her contributions and the lessons we've learned together. We're navigating this transition with kindness and mutual respect, which feels like a personal growth milestone in itself!
As I reflect on this change, I'm confronting some truths about my entrepreneurial journey. I've always been drawn to rallying a community around my passions, sometimes doubting my ability to lead alone. I've learned hard lessons about partnership, shared vision, and the importance of having the right people in the right roles.
But here's the thing: while I'm a little scared to go it alone, I'm even more excited about the possibilities ahead. This transition is an opportunity for a complete refresh of Foraged & Found. I'll be reevaluating everything from our brand look & feel to our funding strategy. I'm fortunate to have support from two accelerators - the Food Finance Institute's Fellows Program and the SKU Accelerator - providing expert mentorship during this crucial phase.
Yes, there will be challenges. The day-to-day support will be different, the wins and losses will feel more personal. But I'm ready to build a team that truly aligns with our vision of becoming a standout brand in the CPG space.
To both of my former business partners: thank you for helping build the foundation for what's to come and for the valuable lessons in professional partnership.
To our community: thank you for your continued support. Since I don't have a co-founder to chat with about all of this, I'll be sharing more of this journey with you. Stay tuned for exciting updates as we enter this new chapter of Foraged & Found!
Here's to new beginnings and the adventure ahead!
