Recipe: 3 Easy Ways to Use Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto

You looooove your Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto… but maybe you don’t love how quickly it disappears! While we eat this straight out of the jar (who wouldn’t), we also know you might be looking for ways to milk a jar for all it’s worth. Here are a few ways we extend the life of one jar of pesto.

Pesto Aioli

Makes ~½ cup

½ c. Mayo

3 Tbsp Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto

Mix Foraged & Found Pesto and mayonnaise together until well combined. Spread on sandwiches, toss into potato salad, pasta salad, salmon dip, this list goes on…

Pesto Butter

Makes ~½ cup

1 stick butter, softened

3 Tbsp Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto

Mix Foraged & Found Pesto and butter together until well combined. Form into a cylinder, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate. Use as a topper on fish, sweet potatoes, toast, and more.

Pesto Seafood Marinade

Makes ~½ cup

¼ c olive oil

¼ c Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto

Juice of 1 lemon

½ tsp red pepper flakes

1 lb. of your favorite wild-caught Alaskan fish

Whisk together all ingredients, add seafood of choice (1 lb of protein). Allow to marinate at least 15 minutes, then cook according to your preference. *Should work for chicken as well! But you may want to marinate at least 30 minutes.
