TAKE THE FORAGED & FOUND BLOGGER RECIPE CHALLENGE AND SEE IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS TO BE A WINNER!

$2,000.00 IN PRIZE MONEY

Foraged & Found is looking for culinary focused bloggers, not professional chefs to compete in their first annual “Foraged & Found Blogger Recipe Challenge.” The challenge date has been set, the knives will be chopping, and the pans will be banging, and the stakes will never be higher to see who becomes the Grand Prize Winner of the Foraged & Found Blogger Recipe Challenge. Foraged & Found is looking for inspirational recipes that will “WOW” us!  

Take the challenge and share your culinary creativity using Foraged & Found’s nutritious Sea Asparagus Pesto that is perfect in the creation of pasta, fish, or vegan recipes. Participating bloggers will receive 4 jars of Foraged & Found’s Sea Asparagus Pesto to aid in the creation of their original recipes.

The Foraged & Found Blogger Recipe Challenge will only be open to the first 30 eligible bloggers who sign-up. Categories for the challenge include appetizers and entrées. Bloggers are encouraged to participate in both categories. One winner we be selected from each category and be awarded $500.00. The winning recipes from each category will then compete to see who will become the $1,000.00 grand prize winner of the  Blogger Recipe Challenge.

The Foraged & Found Recipe Challenge will only be open to the first 30 eligible bloggers who sign-up. Recipes only using Foraged & Found’s Sea Asparagus Pesto will be considered. The contest starts on September 20, 2021 and ends November 20, 2021. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

What’s the challenge and what do I win?

One Grand Prize Winner: $1,000.00 Cash Prize

One Appetizer Winner: $500.00 Cash Prize

This is your time to shine; we are looking for original recipes using our delicious Sea Asparagus Pesto that are inventive and delicious that leaves all your culinary skills on the kitchen counter.

One Entrée Winner: $500.00 Cash Prize  

Be fresh and get out of your comfort zone! We are looking for inspiring recipes that are packed with wonderful flavors and aromas made with our Sea Asparagus Pesto that will leave us saying WOW!

Judging Criteria

The winners of the Foraged & Found Blogger Recipe Challenge will be determined by judging all qualifying entrants' submissions based on the following criteria:

  • Taste: 50%  

Does this recipe taste great with every bite? Would you want to make this recipe repeatedly based on taste alone? Does it contain interesting, yet gratifying flavor combinations?

  • Visual Appeal: 25%

Does the recipe show well in a plate or bowl? Do your eyes make you want to eat this recipe before you even smell or taste it?

  • Creativity: 25%

Does your recipe show originality? Is this recipe reflective of unique twists to ingredient usage? Have you incorporated your personal touch to this recipe?

To take the challenge participants can submit an entry form at www.foragednfound.com starting on September 20, 2021. To qualify for the Foraged & Found Blogger Recipe Challenge the following rules apply:

  • Must be 21 years old or older at time of entry
  • Must be a legal U.S. resident - Void were prohibited
  • Food blog must be updated frequently (at least once per week) and has been in existence for at least 6 months
  • RECIPE MUST BE ORIGINAL
  • Applicants cannot be professional chefs
  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

Recipe Details     

Foraged & Found is looking for recipes that are easy to recreate, delicious and of course, original, and inventive. Only recipes using Foraged & Found’s Sea Asparagus Pesto will be considered.  

How to Submit Your Recipe

You must publicly post your final recipe along with pictures of your Foraged & Found Sea Asparagus Pesto on your food blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram to qualify. You must also include Foraged & Found’s social media links and website URL when posting your recipe on your food blog. You must also tag Foraged & Found on all your social media platforms using the hashtags #foragednfoundak #eatwild #wildalaskanprovisions. When compiling the list of ingredients for your recipe, you must include Foraged & Found’s Sea Asparagus Pesto in your recipe. Please email your original recipe to chelsea@foragednfound.com including up to three photos (jpeg) of your finished recipes, along with links to your published recipes by the contest deadline. Applicants are responsible for complying with all rules of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

We highly encourage you to share your recipes on all forms of social media including, but not limited to, Foodgawker, Tastespotting, Tumblr, YouTube, Google+, etc. Please send links to sites where you have shared your recipe to chelsea@foragednfound.com.

CONTEST TIMELINE & IMPORTANT INFORMATION                                                                  

  • Contest begins September 20, 2021 and ends November 20, 2021.
  • Recipes must be sent no later than November 20, 2021.
  • No recipes will be allowed for entry after November 15, 2021.
  • Contest only open to the first 30 QUALIFIED bloggers.
